Close to the end of the job the client decided that the animation was too violent. The job was canceled before we had a soundtrack so the sound design we have on this video is just a reference. To promote a 2 days sale the agency created a reality show race. People from different parts of US were going to be positioned miles away from a target store and the first one to arrive there pulling a shopping cart all the way through would be the winner. I was assigned to direct one of the TV spots called "Dream" based on the idea that all that happens during the film was part of a dream. Besides this general idea I had freedom to create all the other situations including whales and flying saucers. PT • Este filme é parte de uma grande campanha produzida pela Lobo and TEG The Ebeling Group para a cadeia de lojas americana Target que incluía 4 spots de TV e outros vários filminhos para veicular na internet. Para promover 2 dias de liquidação a agência criou um "reality show". Pessoas de diferentes partes dos EUA eram posicionadas a alguns quilômetros de uma loja da Target e o primeiro a chegar lá, empurrando um carrinho de compras durante todo o trajeto, seria o vencedor. Assumi a direção de um dos filmes para TV trabalhando a partir de um roteiro chamado "Sonhos" baseado na ideia de que tudo o que acontecia no filme não passava de um sonho. Seguindo esta idéia principal tive liberdade para criar todas as outras cenas incluindo baleias e discos voadores.
