During 100 days I created one picture a day / Durante 100 dias criei um quadrinho por dia

Sunday, September 13, 2009. I wrote a few lines about repetition and everyday routine stressing automatic actions like getting always the same bus to work, getting stuck on the traffic jam at the same time everyday, brushing your teeth, washing the dishes, etc. I also wrote about limitations and ways to create with restraints like cooking just with what’s left on the fridge. With all of this in mind, I started a project in which during 100 days I should compose an image a day using only black, white, grey and blue colors, including at least one circle and two squares on a 20cm x 20cm canvas.

Domingo 13 de setembro de 2009. Escrevi algumas linhas sobre repetição e rotina, sublinhando certas ações automatizadas como pegar todo dia o mesmo ônibus para o trabalho, ficar preso no engarrafamento na mesma hora todo dia, escovar os dentes, lavar a louça, etc. Também escrevi sobre limitações e maneiras de criar com restições como ter que cozinhar com o que sobrou na geladeira. Com tudo isso em mente, iniciei um projeto onde, durante 100 dias, eu deveria gerar uma única imagem por dia usando apenas as cores preto, branco, cinza e azul, contendo 1 círculo e 2 quadrados em uma tela de 20cm x 20cm.
